Novel Studies

We are on a roll! The next book we will be delighting our ever growing brains will be Tales of Fourth Grade Nothing.  The story focuses on a nine year old boy name Peter Warren Hatcher and his relationship with his younger brother Farley. Farley hates the sound of his legal name, and prefers Fudge for any and all occasions. The books are of no cost but if your child loses the book, there will be a charge of $4.

During the FSA (Week of March 30 and Week of April 6), we are reading the book Frindle.  Frindle is such a fun book about how much power students can have if they truly believe in something.  The books are of no cost but if your child loses the book, there will be a charge of $5.

Beginning February 17, we are completing our author study on Roald Dahl.  The BFG is an award winning book about a tender, gentle Big Friendly Giant.  Please be sure to submit $1 for your child's book. The BFG will be your child's copy to keep.
