Flip Lesson week of 9/22
Flip lesson is used to get students to learn at home and be more involved in activities to further enhance the material that was learned away from the classroom. This gives teachers more hands-on time with students to create learning rather than consume it.
Our first flip lesson will last throughout this week.
Your child will be going home with instructions.
You will also need this website: All about Idioms
There is one activity that will be due on Friday as well as a test to assess the knowledge of Idioms.
Talk with your child about literal meanings vs non-literal meanings.
This flip lesson can be done over the weekend. We are learning about text features for the next 3 weeks and I would like students to watch the video below before Monday, November 10th.
